Why I Started this Blog

I simply adore writing since I was a kid. In secondary school, I would write silly poems and read them to my friends. Maybe they were impressed beyond words or they were just dumbfounded by the stupidity of them all. I don't want to know. :) I ain't aispiring to be a poet or a writer, I just needed words... words to figure myself, my life out. And I am often impressed by how a point could be easily brought across, so fluently that it struck the heart of the matter and others would know exactly what you are talking about.

Writing helps me to distance myself from these feelings and to act more rational, despite just wanting to act out on these impulses at times. They helped me to reflect and to mature. I needed to pen down my thoughts and ideas. And now as a mother, I wanted to consolidate my ideas about childen, crafts, food so that I am able to look back one day and see life as one big tapestry.

I have another blog, addykidzworld.blogspot.com which was when I started writing during the time I was working in Shichida. I gathered articles to motivate myself as well as the parents of the children whom I was teaching. I was passionate and wanted to share as well as to learn more.

Now, I have another reason to write. I want to share about my two beautiful kids and their growing up journey. I am a stay at home mum who is passionate about being there for the kids, helping them to grow up with good values as well as to love learning. Currently, I am in Cape Town as my husband is working here. I have been here for a year and I simply love it.

My first love is of cos, my family, which I will be sharing about most here. They motivate me to pursue other loves like baking and cooking, as well as crafts. I also love my essential oils because they keep us healthy and I adore nice scents! I have stopped using perfumes since I have kids as I don't think these fragrances are good for children's sensitive noses.

Hopefully, I can have a more organised journey and keep being motivated just like how I am now. :)
