Hi Imm!!

This week was a happening week! This was you at the Science Centre. Oh yes, we celebrated Singapore's 51st birthday. I was trying to bid for the tickets but we didn't get them. But is ok! Science Centre had free entry that day so we went! This time, you were really excited! You are a boy who is really interested in Science, you love seeing how things worked and asked many questions. It is sooo the right time for you to go! Hm just that we live pretty far from Science Centre, otherwise Mummy is certainly going to get the membership for you there! There was this exhibition about the human body which you really wanted to go but Mummy found it a bit ex. It is ok, we have many chances next time! This time, it is as fun as it could get for your age! :)

You love seeing so many reflections on the balls.

Oh we came across this sweet machine. Once in a while, Mummy allowed you to have a treat. We put in a dollar and the numbers will jump, 1, 2 , 3 or 4. We managed to get 4 and 4 rolls of mini mentos came out! So a small treat for you and Ko!

This pendulum thing allows you to "draw" on the screen below.

We went for a fire tornado show!! It was sooo nice seeing the experiment in front of us. Just that it is very hot as it was near the fire!

Playing a matching game and learning names of the different fish.

This is real sand. Both of you were trying to catch the sea creatures which were actually made of lights. It is funny seeing you trying to "catch" and make it disappear!

Going to an island for your vacation?

Enjoying lunch! But you started to get a bit whiny before that... that's what happens when we are out for a longer time. Both you and Ko gets cranky! But you managed to settle and have a nice lunch. You enjoyed the fish and chip and black pepper chicken! We all shared our food together.

Another treat for you! A shooter gun. You could shoot the foam discs out. You were truly in love with it.

During the weekend, we went to Marine Cove and you enjoyed running around the playground, seeing what you could do. But although we were there early, it was still pretty crowded! And you requested to go to the beach.

This was the first time we have been to the beach in Singapore. :) I remember us having picnics a lot in Cape Town. The weather was great and we spend fruitful weekends as a family then. But it doesn't mean we cannot experience that in Singapore. Both of you have adjusted to the weather these few months and it is time for some sea breeze in Singapore!

Auntie Yantin also joined in. She has been a great help to Mummy esp when I needed to work.

Happy faces!

Burying all the legs in the sand! This time I realised that you were also less sensitive to dirt. Yay! It is definitely another milestone. Or Milerock... because you used to whine a lot when you have particles in your feet etc. Exposure and more exposure will get you there! Mummy likes kids to learn how to tahan dirt and discomfort. :)

Another activity that we did together during the weekend was making milo steamed cakes. It is very simple but it is fun to stir and pour together. :)

You did a drawing of the planets over two weeks at Heart Studio!

Playing every night before bedtime. Almost a nightmare for Mummy but it is definitely so sweet seeing both of you chuckle, laugh and squeal so much when I pretend to be the monster and tickle you.

This was also what we were busy with this week... Daddy's birthday present! Well, we all want Daddy to be happy and healthy... so we made this... first we were going to paint glitter on these letters....

All these activities tend to make Mummy scream at times when Ko will suddenly pour a lot of glitter! But overall it was fun right? :)

Yay! And Mummy put the letters together... "Paul's Health Bucket".. we are going to add little things that can help Daddy be healthy ok? :) Happy Birthday to Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
