Dear Imm, Ko and Ri,

It had been an eventful Feb thus far. We started off in a relaxing manner, celebrating CNY holidays since we couldn't really go visiting. But we still had a playdate with Eli and it was fun just hanging out with close friends.

Auntie Vika arranged to make pizza together. It was super cheesy, just as how Ko would like it! :)

Another highlight of the month was taking cable car ride with Ariel. We could use the discovery vouchers and spend one to one time.

It was also good for Mummy to exercise and take short walks.

Ko has been an amazing sister, it is so cute watching you and Ariel do pretend play activities together, be it playing doctor, going to school or hiking. Thank you Ko for teaching Ariel so much through pretend play! Though you always say you are tired and want your me time, Mummy sees you still putting so much effort to engage your little sis, really proud of you!

We did this water jelly thing together too... we will squeeze gel like substance in the mould and soak it into this water which a certain powder is added. The gel like substance will come out in the shape of the mould.

On V- day, 14 Feb, Mummy and Daddy celebrated it by having our hair shaved together, since Mummy's hair was falling off due to the chemo drugs. We did it as a family, which was nice. :)

Tada!!! Imm and Ko took turns shaving us. Mummy teared a little but towards the end, it felt fulfilling and courageous. I was also glad we could transform something meaningful to a family activity, as long as we are together to face challenges, we are good! Hoping to inculcate some values of togetherness and facing boldly to the challenges we have in life.

Ko loves reading a lot these days and Mummy introduced new local authors to her. Ko loves typing stories on Daddy's computer these days! Hoping that one day we can publish a book for you. Jiayou!! Imm is addicted to reading Detective Conan after school, hehe...

Feb is also an art month for us. We did some window art el painting like these. Mummy wanted to do more for Ariel but Ko and Imm also love it. Looks like any kind of art can be therapuetic right?

Mummy searched for some easy pictures early in the week to see how we could do some acrylic art painting. It was quite fulfilling and we all enjoyed it. At first I was frustrated with preparation and mess a little but it went off smoothly after. Even tapping the brushes to create and effect or gently dabbing was a fun action and I was glad everyone had an art work to be proud of after that.

Done by Mummy and Ariel! The clouds were done with sponge and the black spots on the flowers were done by Ariel using cotton buds.

This was done by Ko using cotton buds for the tree and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. Ko loves creating colourful pieces like this :)

This was a sunrise done by Imm :)

We went for an outing to Natural History Museum. Ko didn't join us as she said she had too much homework so we went to the museum. Think Imm enjoyed it more and Ariel just loves to go out.

Mummy and Daddy enjoyed reading about the history of how the animals, pests come about.

Another outing we had was the walk around Singapore River organised by Volunteer Switchboard. Mummy misunderstood and thought it was a rivercruise but it was a walk learning about areas around Singapore River.

We still enjoyed one hour of the walk, had free ice cream and wrote postcards to people that we were grateful to. As we do not know the friends' address, we sent it back to our home address.:)

Last of all, during end of the month, we celebrated Uncle Keenan's birthday with a chicken rice cake! We enjoyed playing with the games on Oculus and had a great time catching up, woohoo!!

It had been a long time catching up with Uncle Keenan and Auntie Esther. We are already thinking of when to go over to their place to see their rabbits soon!

Hi kiddos, Mummy is glad that we can still have a fun time bonding together, spending time with friends. As it is the Endemic period for Covid, we continue to ask for God's protection and grace to be strong and healthy. Mummy is definitely thankful that despite the health risk notices from school, we are still safe for now. We continue to pray for our family and loved ones' health as well as the people in Ukraine who are suffering due to the war.
