Hi Koko!!

The day that you waited for finally came! You are always soooo excited when it comes to your birthday and you would always break out in birthday song, make cakes from sand or playdough and always asking for any of us to blow candles. This year, Mummy couldn't spend the special day with you cos I started work but I managed to plan all this early so you could have a nice cake and give some nice gifts for your friends. :) Mummy only managed to take a pic of the cake with the hair all tied up first so that it wun touch the cake. This was the closest pic I could get... hehe.. this year I ordered from Nanabakes... The doll is your present while the dress is your cake!

Your funny face.

A pic with Kor!

Hm how come you looked so nonchalant, haa!

Blowing the candles....

And cutting the cake! :)

Gifts for your friends!  A personalised drawstring bag... these two had no names as Mummy made some extra.

And animal coin boxes!

A class pic together!

Both you and Kor always eat well outside. We went to Happy Willow at One North when it was a PH... and had lunch at the Korean restaurant.. you sure liked the seaweed soup with rice!

And we also signed up for next term dance classes on your birthday! This pic was captured from the screen outside. Initially, you refused to dance though you said you liked it... only after 3 sessions, you followed the teacher's actions well and you told me cos you "don't want Mummy to be angry". :) It is a small cosy session on fri. Physical activity is great!

We also went to the Imaginarium over the weekend!! Mummy loves places that are free and is also able to help you learn...

Jumping on the whale! Both you and Kor are soooo into trampolines these days that both of you would stack pillows on the bed at night and jump... my poor pillows....

So artistic, this is supposed to be the whale's blowhole.

You and Kor enjoy finding yakult bottles through the sea of rubbish we throw. Gosh, we must really protect the world we live in... reduce, recycle and reuse!

Kor letting you listen to the sounds of the waves.

We are under the sea!

Together with Mummy!

A big charcoal all that is symbolic that our actions can stain the Earth and the effects can last for a long time.

Our lunch at Standing Sushi Bar!

Painting at home together. I was telling both of you to imagine that it is a train... :)

Happy Birthday Ko... you are such a blessing to Daddy and Mummy and we love to see you growing up everyday. You have been a really fast talker and could articulate your needs very well at a young age, thus making it easy for us to understand you. You have your own temperament too.. which is pretty fierce and we are well assured that you would not get bullied and instead, can stand up for Kor too... You protect your loved ones fiercely. Your funny ways have indeed brought so much joy into our lives. You also have such an independence streak in you that I am sure you would succeed in anything you put your mind to. Yet Mummy also hopes you can accept help if you need it and not be too stubborn. When it comes to changing clothes or doing writing, you would refuse for Mummy to help you. :P But anyway we love you a lot and our hearts are filled with gratitude seeing that you are growing to be loving, joyful, and faithful (always reminding Mummy to pray these days).... :)
