Letter to Reiko #87 Singapore Night Scene During Mid Autumn and Bread Making Session

Hi Ko!

Mummy wanted to find something interesting for both you and Kor to do this Mid Autumn. My initial plan was to create a treasure hunt like how we did on Easter last year. But this time, we had to get clues to find parts of a mooncake and dig for the letter inside or something. Since in the olden days, it was said that people would hide secret messages inside mooncakes to prevent others from finding out. Hehe, but I guess I didn't carry that out cos it was a little tedious and you finished dance at 8 pm... so ok.. Mummy decided to bring you to take a walk at Gardens by the Bay since I saw they had some magnificient displays... both you and Kor really enjoyed seeing the decor and we breathed in the Mid Autumn aura. :) This was you and the Jade Rabbit.. a tad dark though!

Some facts about the Jade Rabbit.

Can we make out who is in the pic?

Look at the Super Trees!

We can't forget the most important thing in Mid Autumn right? A cloudy night...

Mummy loves this night scene, we hardly get to experience as we are at home during night time. Since Daddy is overseas, we hardly go out much to town at night.

Mummy couldn't resist a pic of the Ferris Wheel as we passed by on our way home.

Since there was no Heguru this weekend, Mummy just had to do something with you right? And thus, we did our breadmaking again! The last time we did, it was pretty hard as it was not kneaded enough. This time, Mummy tried to knead it more first before giving it to you to roll over with rolling pain and then add raisins/chocolate chips. You had a really fun time! :) Look at the flour on your face!

We also went to a nearby cafe.. The Plain Jane. Mummy thought the decor was pretty quaint.. reminded me of an English little cottage.

We tried the raspberry and earl grey swiss rolls as well as Matcha Latte. You wanted the raspberry one but didn't really like the cream though.

Popo also started reading some books to you.

You love to create funny expressions these days!

Oops... Mummy forgot to add this pic of us last week! :)

You and your Heguru classmates! Teacher Jie Xin is going away so we took a class photo..
