Hello Imm!

This week's post is about the activities you do these days... You told me that you liked swimming best, followed by art class and then Berries. However, the last few weeks, you would say that your leg is very itchy and want to come up 10 mins before class ends. It was like this for a couple of weeks and Mummy would bring you to bathe earlier. You tend to have sensitive skin and eczema and had this tortured look on your face. One of the weeks recently, you wanted to come up half an hr earlier! Mummy was very angry... however, coach let you play with some of the water rings and after a while, you were ok and started laughing... hm.... I tend to think it is all in the mind for you. No doubt it is itchy but I think you felt a little bored also cos it was repetitive and you just wanted to play. You are a boy who just loves imaging and playing... it amazes me how you create games in your head and create scenarios to pretend to. Even if you do not become the next Joseph Schooling, Mummy wants to instill this important trait in you... willpower and perseverance. Things will not always be "interesting" but we must endeavor to strive past the boredom and not give up so easily.

And now your art piece! This few weeks, we were doing on animals. Your favourite animal is the cheetah. You want to draw one in the wild and later you painted the background with trees. :) You love the brush hopping motion which teacher taught you.

Another activity we did at home was gel painting. You could do this very nicely! I love it when you focused.

Matching in thousands to words. I just spread all the words and numbers out and you could match them in sequence. I just wanted to input in thousands. You did all these without much help. Mummy notices that you like Maths and Science a lot. You like to think about how things work. So my next thing is to see if we can have classes at worklab to cultivate more interest!

Mummy baked this lemon butter cake recently. Well, just felt like putting it up so I can remember what I did during this time too!! :)
