Letter to Immanuel, Reiko & Ariel #224, #7 National Day Long Weekend Memories
Hi Imm, Ko and Ariel!There was a long weekend this period and we really go to enjoy ourselves. Before that:
Imm and Ko:
Imm, Mummy is so happy I got to spend time with you, which is really a luxury. This is time apart from reading or doing work and I do not have to rush as well. This was time after your school and when Ariel was sleeping and Ko is still at childcare. We did some baking together. We were baking your favourite muffins - you didn't want the chocolate chips inside anymore so we did not add them.
We also had a family gathering at Uncle TJ and Auntie Serene's new place. We celebrated all the Aug babies birthdays, which is a lot! We also went for a swim after that. You and Ko sure had lots of fun!!
Guess what? Auntie Yantin came back to visit us! Imm kept asking her to play with him games like monopoly. Haha, first time we had two helpers in our house. They have really been such a great help, especially when Daddy and Mummy are not in at times.
Oh we celebrated our nation's bday at Ritz Carlton, again a luxury for us! We were invited by Uncle Mark and Auntie Pam.. only managed to take a photo of the girls but you really enjoyed playing with them and watching the fireworks after that :) It is so nice just watching the fireworks from the hotel window. There was a tent in the room too and all of you loved to play inside it. Imm, especially tried to hide in the tent under the covering... haha.. Ko loved to take care of Sarah Mei!
Another of the precious memories we had, going to Auntie Jenny's place! You all always have so much fun, both Imm and Ko played with Jerrell, Cherisse and Cherilyn - played games like monkey, hide and seek and also treasure hunt.. so cute..
We also went to see Auntie Qin and had breakfast together with her and Eli, Imm especially loves to take care of Eli.
Ariel:
You are turning 3 months old soon. Daddy and Mummy feels that you are just growing so fast. Daddy said he can't really carry you and sleep properly already.. too big for him to hold. Hehe. These few days, you seemed to have a stuffy nose too and so we placed a red onion beside you as Auntie Vika said it could get rid of the bacteria (and we also followed up by doing some research on the internet.)
One of the funny faces which we loved! You are just soo responsive now and have started to babble quite a bit. Mumy realised you could be pretty noisy when Daddy placed you beside me once in the morning. I was still snoozing but could hear you babbling non stop in the background. :)
