Thursday, September 29, 2016 0 Comments A+ a-

Hi Imm!!

Daddy was back this week and all of us had loads of fun! We went to the airport to fetch him.. Daddy came back for a short while as he had to attend a course and so we didn't get to spend much time.. but he will be back again in 2 weeks time! Yippee!! He try to spend as much time to play with both of you.. sometimes it is just random tickling and hugging but I guessed it is enough for both of you!

While picking Daddy up..

We would also go to Kids Amaze. Both you and Ko really love running and spending your energy!

Daddy also brought you to one of your classmates parties since Mummy had a scrub and massage appointment..  saw from the photos that you had a great time.:) But Daddy said you didn't really like the party games though you enjoyed spending time with your friends.

We went to eat at a hawker centre centre after your swimming.. simple joys of just eating out as a family of 4.. something we are unable to do these days...

Eating ice...

Games we played: Stomachache!

Colouring together with Ko..

Yay till next time! :)

Letter to Ko #88 Kids Amaze and Swimming and Daddy!

Hi Ko!!

It has been two weeks since I last updated.. partly because Mummy's comp was being bonkers and I have to write to you at 5 am sometimes... sometimes Mummy got lazy or simply no time and also because... we are busy this time as Daddy is back! We are busy spending time together as a family. :) I guess this is very rare.... so we really treasure these moments. One great moment was Daddy swimming with you! You hardly go swimming as Mummy only bring Imm for classes but I managed to buy a float at the last min and you enjoyed kicking and playing in the water!

Actually last week, we just went swimming at Auntie Meijing's house.. hehe... she just moved to her new place. But I couldn't catch any photos of you because my phone is not waterproof.. but anyway just to remember that we actually sat on this giant unicorn! It was such an experience! haha...

This week we went to the airport. I didn't expect you to come walking out of the room at 515 am.... I was actually planning to go with Ma-ma, uncle Justin and Imm only. But since you were up so early, we all went together!

Can't wait to be hugged by Daddy.... :)

After Kor finished his swimming classes, we went to eat the the Hawker together. Mummy realized that we could now eat at hawker centres easily whereas we had to struggle last time because we need to feed you or we need baby chairs for more convenience etc. It was quite striking because we hardly eat out at hawker centres these days. It has such a local feel to it... chicken rice.. :) I realized how much you have grown in independence when we are eating out now. It is sure getting easier and easier to take care of you and Kor. Whilst waiting for Daddy to buy our food, both of you played with ice. :)

And ate ice.

Playing the Ukulele with Daddy.

We also went to Kids Amaze at Safra Toa Payoh! It was really fun again! Initially we couldn't go in as there was a party, so we waited at the little playground for abt an hour before we went into the slides.

This was where both of you truly love it!!!!

Sliding down!!

You will cry if Kor were to slide down before you first.

Just 3 of us!

Some games we played together when Daddy was not back yet. This is called "stomachache". Mummy borrowed this game from my friends. I realized that both of you can play games together now.. it is really fun! Mummy hopes to continue with this culture so we could spend time together as a family..

Doing colouring together!!

Giving Daddy a big fat kiss!! He will be leaving soon but coming back in 2 weeks time again! Whoopeee!!

Letter to Reiko #87 Singapore Night Scene During Mid Autumn and Bread Making Session

Monday, September 19, 2016 0 Comments A+ a-

Hi Ko!

Mummy wanted to find something interesting for both you and Kor to do this Mid Autumn. My initial plan was to create a treasure hunt like how we did on Easter last year. But this time, we had to get clues to find parts of a mooncake and dig for the letter inside or something. Since in the olden days, it was said that people would hide secret messages inside mooncakes to prevent others from finding out. Hehe, but I guess I didn't carry that out cos it was a little tedious and you finished dance at 8 pm... so ok.. Mummy decided to bring you to take a walk at Gardens by the Bay since I saw they had some magnificient displays... both you and Kor really enjoyed seeing the decor and we breathed in the Mid Autumn aura. :) This was you and the Jade Rabbit.. a tad dark though!

Some facts about the Jade Rabbit.

Can we make out who is in the pic?

Look at the Super Trees!

We can't forget the most important thing in Mid Autumn right? A cloudy night...

Mummy loves this night scene, we hardly get to experience as we are at home during night time. Since Daddy is overseas, we hardly go out much to town at night.

Mummy couldn't resist a pic of the Ferris Wheel as we passed by on our way home.

Since there was no Heguru this weekend, Mummy just had to do something with you right? And thus, we did our breadmaking again! The last time we did, it was pretty hard as it was not kneaded enough. This time, Mummy tried to knead it more first before giving it to you to roll over with rolling pain and then add raisins/chocolate chips. You had a really fun time! :) Look at the flour on your face!

We also went to a nearby cafe.. The Plain Jane. Mummy thought the decor was pretty quaint.. reminded me of an English little cottage.

We tried the raspberry and earl grey swiss rolls as well as Matcha Latte. You wanted the raspberry one but didn't really like the cream though.

Popo also started reading some books to you.

You love to create funny expressions these days!

Oops... Mummy forgot to add this pic of us last week! :)

You and your Heguru classmates! Teacher Jie Xin is going away so we took a class photo..

Letter to Immanuel #87 Touring Singapore Night Scene During Mid Autumn

Hi Imm!!

This weekend, I hardly spent time with you as you were mostly at Ma-ma's house. But on Fri, Mummy decided to bring you and Ko to spend time and walk at Gardens by The Bay as they have some lantern decorations being put up... so after Ko's dance finished at 8 pm, off we went for our night adventure! :)

You refused to let me take a pic of you much, thus I had to do it when you were walking. :)

Look at the Supertree Grove!

And I had to take the pic of the moon of cos! It was a little cloudy but once again, it adds on to the mysterious aura of it.

There was a performance here of light and sound, thus we stopped by to watch for a while. Both you and Ko were very fascinated by it as it seemed so natural, the effects of the fauna and falling rain.. natural phenomena.

Tried to take some pics but it was just too dark with the bright light displays.

Can we make the faces out? :)

With Mid Autumn festival, there were definitely many displays of the Jade Rabbit. Here is Ko with the Jade Rabbit since you didn't want to take any more pics.

Marina Bay Sands at night. The night has such a calming feel to it and brings out such a majestic glow to Singapore's landscape.

On our way back, we passed by the Ferris wheel.. Mummy couldn't resist to take a pic of it... The night flyer looks so pretty with its lights at night! I have hardly been out so late these days and I am glad I have an excuse again! :)

Hope you enjoy yourself Imm.. Mummy tries my best to make every week interesting for you so that you will be filled with rich memories of us spending time together. It is also to let you walk more for physical activity is very important. Let us look forward to the next walk together! :)
