Hi Ko!!

We just celebrated Chinese New Year last week...This was our simple reunion dinner... Mummy ordered claypot rice and pizza... since PoPo and Wai gong probably not so into pizza.. hehe... as usual, still must make soup each time for you.... You are just simply a soup girl since you were a toddler, which is probably good as soups are nutritious. :)

Usually on the first day, we would go to Auntie Mary's house to visit her.

Together with Elise and Samuel, Daddy's cousin James children! You really love playing with Big Jie Jies and you really had a good time bonding with the cousins since we came back to celebrate CNY this year.

Playing with the clappers.

And what did you and Kor do at one of the homevisits? Cleaned up a doll house for them.. hehe

Our Lo Hei at Ma-ma house! Every year, Ma ma would prepare steamboat and grill session  for everybody on the 2nd day of new year... Uncle Gregory will be our spokesman, saying all the nice auspicious sayings for the Lo Hei.

You still like eating the cracker this year. I guess that is kid's favourite.

Waiting in anticipation.

And during the public holiday, Mummy brought both of you to the playground at Ang Mo Kio. I like it cos there is sand there, which is hardly the case in Singapore these days.

On top of the world! Or the slide.

And playing on your favourite... the swing! You used to swing so much in Cape Town but in Singapore, there are not as many swings... at least not in the places we went to.

At home, we finished using the dough to make gingerbread man... the one that Mummy kept aside since the previous time we made. Kor is not so into this now.. made me think that he has outgrown activities and it is time for Mummy to "evolve". But you still enjoy all these though:)

And what else did we do at home? We made stuff like these.... like using oven bake clay to make erasers! Mummy found it rather cute and fascinating... heheehhe....

Prancing around, wearing for school celebration the next day.

yes! Another CNY and this weekend, Daddy is coming back! Mummy as usual, hoped that it was a fulfilling one, full of fun, laughter, gatherings with friends and family. After all, that is what CNY is about right? :)
