Letter to Reiko #216 Istana on May day and Celebrating Sera's bday

Hi Ko!!

We had an outing on Mayday - 1st May, which was really tiring cos we had to squeeze with the crowd! But anyway we still had a rather fulfilling day that day. First, we took a train to Dhoby as we wanted to visit the Istana, which is only open a couple of times a year. Everytime, it would be really crowded. On our own, Daddy and Mummy will definitely not go but we thought we can have a new experience with both you and Kor... it was already nice just being on the train. You were saying that people must give up their seats to Mummy because I am pregnant.. :)


We had to queue really long to get in but compared to others, we were fast since we were in the priority queue.. it was great that Mummy is pregnant... hehe..



we went to do some crafts but also had to queue pretty long... gosh! You drew your dream - of wanting to be a fairy. Actually we had to launch the bottle but it was a long queue too. Mummy said that you could decorate a bottle at home and just put the scroll of paper inside.


Another eventful thing we did was trying to see through a telescope. However, the sun was hiding behind the clouds that day so we could not view much also. Still it was quite an experience.



Managed to catch some picturesque moments before we left the area.. :) We wanted to visit the Istana building but we had to queue and buy the tics too. By that time we were all soooooooo tired and hot that we didn't do that.
