Letter to Reiko #52 A Brand New Year and A Giant Leap of Faith Again
Hi Ko!!This is a picture of you at the playground near our place. Daddy was sick that day... imagine that... first day of the year.. so we were at home while he rested and I decided to just bring you downstairs with Kor. Kor was trying to learn riding his two wheel bike but he got really discouraged.. so I brought him up back home and brought you down again.. all because you had to play with your favourite swing!! And this is your favourite pose... supposed to be "twice" with 2 fingers.. but yours is 4 fingers. :P
This was us at the Cape Town Fish Market in Waterfront. We only discovered recently that it had a sand area as it is not visible from the outside. And it is really nice that both you and Kor could play while waiting for lunch to arrive.
A present from Uncle YY and Aunt Qinyi... Kor's godparents. It just arrived yesterday and you were really happy to have your own pink watch. Though you looked a little sweaty... it is summer now and temperatures can reach to nearly 40 degrees!
To end off this week... it is a pic of you and Kor at the playground in Waterfront. Both of you are super close now ever since you got separated for 3 weeks. It is really nice to see how you would always speak up for him and he will also protect you and help you when you needed help. :)
This week during mass, you thanked God that Ma-ma, gong gong and Kor is here from Spore. You could also say "Our Father" prayer rather clearly nowadays, :) May your faith continue to grow as we journey together.
This is my first letter to you in year 2016. Mummy hopes to have more wonderful moments with you. We are going back to Singapore while Daddy is going to Chennai India. It is another new phrase with both of you. Mummy will certainly try to find the strength and energy to cope and hope to start working again. Yet I am also hesitant cos that means less time for both of you. Let's see what God brings. I hope we will have a happy year together!!! Let us journey in faith, hope and love.
