Green Bean Sweet Potato Soup
It is getting soooooooooooo cold during this winter! I bought some sweet potato initially for my bread filling but the kids seemed to enjoy the one with yellow flesh instead. I thought of other things which I could do with my orange sweet potato and tada!! Thought of this!!
It is really very simple and nowadays I realised even more strongly that pandan leaves are a must have for any Chinese dessert!!!!!!!!!
First, I boiled my green beans with pandan leaves. Boil for half an hour before I put in my sweet potato and cooked them still soft. I will add in rock sugar for taste. And it tastes so good!! After drinking it, I certainly felt much better to withstand the coldness!!
