Malaysia Getaway D2 : Legoland

Day 2 started off with a bang with the 2 kids up earlier than the adults. One reason was because Imm wet his pants and went off to change on his own in the middle of the night! How independent!

Before the Legoland madness, we derived sustenance from bread by a Japanese bakery Komugi (a little pricey by local standards though nice!) and 2 tea leaf eggs ta-baoed from Tebrau City. The minors wolfed down the softy side of the buns leaving all the chocolate goodness for the adults!

Savouring their breakfast!
We took on Legoland's Halloween Break-or-Treat offer where kids go free if they dressed up in full Halloween costume. The savvy Daddified went one further by waving his SAFRA and Passion card with coupon printouts to enjoy another 25% off for the adults. This allowed the family to net our entry at RM292.50 for the 4 of us whilst ordinarily, the full fare would have costed (RM160/adult x2 + RM128 x2 =) RM576, nearly 50% off.

Separate note: Upgraders to the annual pass need to know that they will calculate the top-up difference between what you have paid for the entrance minus the existing annual pass rates. I decided not to upgrade unless there is an annual pass promo, which they had ran before.

Halloween madness with the family decked in skelly and witchy costumes

The first ride the kids took. Koko took the smaller circuit whilst Imm had the luxury of the bigger and more awesome one. Despite the simple circuit, Koko driving skills CMI!!!!!

Imm's fav childhood cartoon of all time

Don't be mistaken by Koko's happy smile here. She simply hated the Ninjago ride but the rest of us had a whale of our time. IT was the BEST Ride in Legoland.

The sinful and most expensive meal of our trip at RM80 a full family set (actually quite ok). The Lego fries were nice!

This prison is not very useful for me. My son still escaped.

I am risk adverse so we played a sure win game! One of the few indulgences by cheapo Daddified

Even the rabbits and the Rafflesia flower is Lego design!

At home build still not enough, must come all the way here to build

We loved touring around the mini lego build ups. Everything is so impressive!

Nice family photo with an Icon of Malaysia

This is a MUST WATCH. A puppet Ninjago show, only available in Malaysia.

Sigh... presents... No offer summore.

Spot the kids please!
Either the Lego figurines look real or the kids look like blocks.
Even the adults had a whale of a time. From the pictures, you would figure that we almost had the whole park to ourselves. Which is nearly true because we hardly had to queue for any of the rides. Some nice ones we went double times without getting off! And sorry hor, the fun ones I did not take photos, cos too fun and busy to take photos. Only the best ones I just had to mention.

Daddified is a strong advocate of off-peak travel now!
